Jack is now happily eating both eating his way through the alphabet: apples, bananas/brocoli, carrots, courgettes.. well, you get the picture (though, in Ben's eyes, the real alphabet begins with agneau, boeuf, cochon...). He's also beginning to get up onto his knees - which makes the chance he might start crawling soon seem all the closer. He wiggles a lot when we stand him up, but he gets the idea.. particularly if he's also hanging onto the side of the couch. His favourite noise at the moment is 'gurrrrrrrr' and he can play 'hide and seek' by pulling a cloth over his face as we call his name. His smiling face when he pulls the cloth off his face is a sight for sore eyes, I can tell you.
And, well, that's us for the moment - happy with our lives and happy with Jack :-)
