Stability

What can I say? Life's been busy this last month.

Dear friends from university days came to stay for a week, renting a gîte in our town to give us all a little space and filling our life with laughter and happiness. Jack fell in love with the ten year old girl who came with them and who was with him as they all went to a treetop adventure park where he learned how to 'Death Slide' in style!

Emma's been busy.. growing cuter and cheekier by the moment. Just look at the photo above and you'll see the life - the growing, crackling fire of life - that blazes in her eyes.

And Jack? He's a wee -awkward, overly passionate, overly determined - charmer. Last week, he watched as one of bestest friends learned to ride her bike. During a pause, Ben put Jack on the bike and explained how it worked.. and away Jack cycled. Seriously! He's always had his small bike that doesn't have pedals and so he found how to keep his balance months ago but I was still awed/amazed/gobsmacked that he could just cycle off on his own. The photo below, mark, was taken that very first time - when he immediately left the safety of Ben to go off on his own. Of course, he doesn't really know how to turn or to brake but I'm sure he'll learn how to do such things later....

And Ben and I? We're so busy just getting on with life that we are a bit like Jack: we've found our balance and are moving our 4-person family happily through time and space without really knowing how to turn or to brake.

Helterskelter, here we come!

Hoping your life is either bringing you the stability you're looking for or that it is soaring you along that crazy old path called life!
hugs, loads of hugs,

Moving times

Emma's now eight months old and moves around by rolling from her pudgy tummy onto her back. Nothing is safe anymore!

At the same, being with her can be very 'moving' as she often bursts into (theatrical) tears when I leave the room....

only to smile again when I come back in.

I guess she's not a girl for nothing!

Hoping you are well and that things are moving along nicely for you,

Robynxxxx
