Six and a half months!

This weekend we went back through to Germany to visit with the Derimays and Ben's parents and this wooden wheely cow. Jack had great fun watching, touching and cuddling his cousins...and we all got a laugh at him being a 'cowbaby!'
He's also enjoying his solids (courgettes, carrots and cauliflowers - we'll start on the other letters later...) and is always reaching out to see what he can touch. Also, although he can't
yet crawl, he can really travels by rolling and by rotating the direction of his body. So now is playmat is surrounded by other blankets. It all keeps us amused (and busy) I can tell you :-)

And we're back!

After a busy month, visiting Scotland and generally trying to survive life with a growing Jack, we're back online.

And, has the wee boy changed?

Well, after his official doctor's meeting this morning, 'Yes.' He now wieghs 7.5kgs and measures in at 64cm.

Those, though, are only the statistics. The reality is much more interesting: he's really turning into a 'liitle boy' as he's constantly on the move and he started on solids this week.

He can't yet crawl but, my goodness, is he ever trying.

And, I was really proud of him as he managed day after day in the car as we traveled to and from Scotland, and he was generally just super as he meant a bunch of new people who were just excited to meet him.

So, here he is - six months old - with me and my mum in New Deer.
