Five and a half months old!

A quiet week for Jack as his parents prepare for their upcoming roadtrip to Scotland!

The weather is so exceptionally warm at the moment that when we take Jack for a walk in his 'super-pram' he's dressed only in his most skimpyish of pyjamas and we have to constantly have to dodge in and out of the shadows to keep the sun off his face. He doesn't seem to mind as the warm temperatures mellow him out even more than usual. And, as he doesn't need the warmth of his sleeping bag, he has more freedom to roam about in the bed - which means that I once saw him turn 180* (one minute was facing the window and the next, after crabbing round using the side of the bed, he was facing the door). Mr now also quite likes sleeping his side and is constantly talking away to himself.

So, yep, I'm pleased to report that all is well here.. and that the next time I write it'll be from New Deer and with many many miles behind us.

Five Months

Hello, here I am - all five months of me!!

We've actually had a fairly exciting lasr rwo weeks as we decided, at the last minute, to drive down to Cagnes sur mer to spend Easter weekend with Annette and Jean Claude.

The drive down took ten hours but Jack was great and barely cried - even as he was fed in some fairly dodgy parking lots.

We had a lovely weekend together - going for walks, eating chocolate and geneally catching up.

However, our return home coincided with Jack's first fever: 39,4*
It only lasted a day and was surely due to his teeth - but bleh!!!

The rest of the week was thus a bit sleepy for us all but thankfully we've had lovely sunny and warm weather to help things along.

Until next time...

May the games begin!

As you can see from the photo, Jack has begun to reach out for anything and everything within his sight!

At the moment, he's reaching for the keyboard so I'll keep it short but know all is well and all will be well!
